DESCRIPTION: WW -Rolex Oyster Chronograph, ref 4500, circa 1947, 36mm x 42mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with non screw down round pump pushers and an 18K yellow gold bezel, refinished silvered dial with applied gold Arabic numerals, telemeter and tachymeter scales along perimeter, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 23, s#616308, triple signed, inside back ref 4500. CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, chronograph functions and resets properly...
CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, chronograph functions and resets properly, near mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork; excellent-plus refinished dial; excellent gold alpha hands; polished case shows light wear, light pitting to top right lug, light pitting on the backs of the lugs near the caseback as well as along the bottom side of the case, light ding on top right lug; original Rolex Oyster crown shows very little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
